Julian Osula, was born on the 30th of July, 1966 in Nkalagu in Enugu state, though he is not from that state. He hails from Benin City. This top businessman is also a Prince of the Osula Royal family in Benin.

Julian had his basic education here in Nigeria (Benin to be precise), before moving to the United Kingdom for his secondary education. He returned to Nigeria in the year 1984 to continue his education as he attended the University of Benin to study law.

Interestingly, Julian Osula is also a lawyer as he bagged his LLB then later went on to the Nigeria Law School and finished in the year 1989.

In the year 1989, Julian started off his career and worked at the defunct First City Merchant Bank and the Alpha Merchant Bank, though he would go on to start his own company a few years after.

In the year 1991, Osula became an entrepreneur, starting his own company called Manla Enterprises. The company was widely known for supplies of souvenirs and printing. During this period, he serviced clients like Elf Petroleum, Texaco, INEC, Access Bank, and the Nigerian Presidency.

In 2004, he got a contract to supply warships spare parts to the Nigerian Navy. Well, he didn’t stop at that as he went on to start two other companies, this time, they were based on luxury.

In the year 2011, he started a company, Stiple Gate, which dealt with sales of solely luxury watches. 2013 brought about Julian’s Luxury, which explored more into luxury goods from exclusive timepieces and jewelry to accessories and writing instruments.

Operations for Julian’s Luxury is mainly sales of luxury items ranging from sunglasses, pieces of jewelry, watches, perfumes, custom made garments to Exotic Cars. It was this company that earned him the name King of Nigerian Luxury.
