Stefflon Don, born Stephanie Victoria Allen (born 14 December 1991), professionally is a British dancehall/rap artist and songwriter, and singer who rose to fame after her 2017 single “Hurtin’ Me” featuring French Montana peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2016, Don released her debut mixtape Real Ting, followed by another mixtape, Secure, in 2018.
Real name Stephanie Allen, Stefflon Don was born on December 14, 1991, in Birmingham, England to Jamaican parents. She is one of seven siblings. At the age of 5, her family moved to the Netherlands, Rotterdam, precisely.
While there, she experienced her first studio time at the age of 9; rapping with her brothers and sisters. Her family would stay in Holland for 9 years. Stefflon Don is not married but currently in a relationship with Nigerian Dancehall singer, Burna Boy. Don confirmed the relationship in February 2019. She has a son whom she had at age 17. In an interview with ES Magazine, she confirmed that her son loves it when she drops him off at school. In her words; “He wants me to drop him at school so he can show me off…I’m like: ‘I’m not doing that.’ So usually I go with my PA and let her walk him in.”
