Olawunmi Toriola is a Nigerian, Yoruba Nollywood actress and movie producer born on July 11, 1988. She is a native of Ogun state, a South-Western state in Nigeria. She studied Linguistics at the University of Ilorin and also had a diploma in Theatre Arts from Odunfa Caucus, a Yoruba theatre organization founded by Yinka Quadri, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Abbey Lanre, Sunny Alli, and Razak Ajao.

Wunmi Toriola, as she is fondly called, started acting in 2009, the time she joined Odunfa Caucus and broke out in no distant time. She transcended from being an actress to producing movies four years after becoming an actress.

In 2013, she produced her first movie titled ‘Eto’. Wunmi Toriola so far has produced 13 movies and featured in over 100 movies since becoming an actress. Toriola’s first featured movie is ‘Isese Lgaba’, produced by Tawa Ajisefeni.

Wunmi Toriola got married to her husband on May 13, 2018, whom she claimed she met on Facebook. During an interview, Toriola narrated how she met her husband. In her words, ‘He saw me in a movie, and it happened. I don’t like to talk about it, laugh! He saw me in a movie and we chatted via Facebook and I rarely do Facebook, and everything just happened.’
